They actually work almost the same as a moisturizer under your foundation. They are used to easing the application of foundation and are meant to create a barrier between foundation and skin.

It has been said that they’ll even out skin tone, help your makeup stay on longer and absorb oil with salicylic acid.

Elastin is a protein connective tissue which is elastic and also allows the tissue in our body to resume their shape after stretching or contracting.

Besides, elastin helps to restore our skin to its original state when it is poked or pinched.
